UNILAG students develop human trafficking tracker software

Three students of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) have apparently built up some product that can track and uncover human dealers just as salvage and restore unfortunate casualties. 

The three students, David Popoola, Eyitayo Ogunbiyi and Chukwudumebi Onwuli are said to be students of System Engineering and Computer Engineering Departments. 

The Outreach and Communication Officer, United Nations Office on Drug and Crime (UNODC), Mr Sylvester Atere made this known on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 in Abuja. 

the students built up the product following 29 hours coding long distance race, which they developed victors of the #Hackathon4Justice occasion sorted out in Lagos somewhere in the range of 22nd and 23rd March, 2019. 

The coding rivalry was sorted out by UNODC in organization with Facebook and Africa TeenGeeks. 

Atere was cited to have said that the coding long distance race was a piece of UNODC's Education for Justice (E4J) activity, a part of the Global Program for execution of the Doha Declaration, including that the occasion was intended to start imagination in youngsters while pushing their coding abilities. 

"The trio of David Popoola, Eyitayo Ogunbiyi and Chukwudumebi Onwuli of System Engineering and Computer Engineering bureaus of the University of Lagos stood out of up and coming experts.
