ICPC arraigns man over fake Diploma certificate

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission (ICPC) has charged Heart Victor Nonso to court for purportedly producing a Diploma Certificate in Public Administration of the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi.

The commission, in a six-tally charge, recorded before Justice U.I. Bello, of the Federal High Court, Abuja, saw that Nonso produced the testament with the aim to obtain a phony transcript from the Federal Ministry of Education, to facilitate his visa application with the United Arab Emirates.

The supposed offense, which was submitted in 2018, negated Section 363 and culpable under Section 364 of the Penal Code Law, Cap 532 Laws of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The blamed argued not blameworthy, as his guidance, Mr. Chijoke Kanu, begged the court to give him safeguard. Equity Bello decided that the blamed be remanded in Kuje Prisons until decision on the safeguard application which has been set for sixth March, 2019.
