Abia State University (ABSU) Announces Mid-Semester Break for All Students



The Vice-Chancellor, for the University Authorities, has endorsed a Mid-Semester Break for all understudies to empty the University Campuses from Monday, eleventh February to Tuesday fifth March, 2019, to empower the University set out on significant fixes over the Campuses, particularly at Igwi River, the primary wellspring of water supply to the University which has separated. 

This is to maintain a strategic distance from intense lack of water on Campus and ensuing natural debasement. 

Understudies are offered up to Tuesday twelfth February, 2019, to clear the University Campuses. 

There will be no instructor amid this break period. All understudies are required to profit to their Campuses for Tuesday, fifth March, 2019, when ordinary Academic exercises will continue. 

Understudies, Parents, Guardians, Sponsors and Stakeholders of the University are encouraged to be legitimately guided.

ICPC arraigns man over fake Diploma certificate

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission (ICPC) has charged Heart Victor Nonso to court for purportedly producing a Diploma Certificate in Public Administration of the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi. The commission, in a six-tally charge, recorded before Justice U.I. Bello, of the Federal High Court, Abuja, saw that Nonso produced the testament with the aim to obtain a phony transcript from the Federal Ministry of Education, to facilitate his visa application with the United Arab Emirates.
