Report holds that the newly constructed Faculty of Social Sciences Block of Benue State University collapsed yesterday.
To God be the glory, strike was on when this happened. Although, no one is certain of the reason for the fall.

17-year-old Nigerian emerges WAEC’s best candidate with 8 A1s

A 17-year-old previous student of Nigerian Airforce Secondary School, Ikeja, Lagos, Peter Arotiba, has developed the best by and large competitor in the May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in West Africa. Arotiba developed the best candidate in the sub locale with eight A1s in the May/June 2018 WASSCE, beating over 1.9million hopefuls that sat for the examination. In the May/June 2018 WASSCE, Arotiba with examination number 4251112045, acquired A1 in eight subjects which are Economics A1, Civic Education A1, Tourism A1, English Language A1, Mathematics A1, Biology A1, Chemistry A1 and Physics A1. The second and third positions went to two Ghanaian students, Wilhermina Opoku (second) and Brago Afrifa, (third). The attack of two JAMB officials

Registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, revealed that two JAMB officials had an attack during the mock exercise which held on Monday (today). He said the two officials would also have been burnt to death but for the quick intervention that saved them from the attempted jungle justice. He said the reason for the deadly  attack was yet to be known, even as the two officials have been taken to the hospital after they were saved The registrar made this known t on Monday when he led the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, on a visit to some CBT centres in Abuja during the mock examination.
