Family insist on continuous search for missing Lagos Corps Member





The group of a serving individual from the National Youth Service Corps in Lagos State, Abdulrafiu Imam, has asked the NYSC and the police to heighten the scan for him.

Imam, an alum of Mathematics from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State, disappeared on December 24, 2018, after he left the flat he imparted to a companion at the Military Barracks Yaba.

Imam's sister, Kehinde Lawal, told our journalist that his flat mate, who was not around when he gone out, told the family that Imam had appeared of misery of late as a result of a sprained.

She stated, "I don't recognize what prompted his vanishing, since we don't remain together; he remains in Lagos, while I remain in Ibadan. All we know is that we had been attempting to contact him on his telephone days before Christmas and his number showed that it was turned off, and this got us stressed.

"His flat mate revealed to us that he went to the Redemption Camp and when he returned, he saw my sibling's telephone, wallet and garments in the room and reasoned that he had gone out to purchase something.

"Yet, his flat mate ended up fearful in the wake of sitting tight for two days without seeing Imam. One of my sibling's companions, who had been calling his telephone without luckiness, called the flat mate, who disclosed to him he had not seen Imam for some days and that is the manner by which we have been searching for him from that point forward.
