This is to advise all the recently conceded understudies of the Delta State University (DELSU) that the administration of the foundation has discharged the dates for the 2018/2019 scholarly session introduction program.

DAY 1: WEDNESDAY, 9TH JANUARY, 2019

10.00 a.m. Every single crisp understudy are situated.

10.15 a.m. Landing of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Victor F. Peretomode, the Registrar, Bursar, University Librarian, Deans of Faculty, Professors, Directors of Academic Programs and Heads of Department.

10.30 a.m. Presentation of the Vice-Chancellor and different dignitaries by the Public Relations Officer.

10.45 a.m. Welcome location by the Dean of Students, Professor Augustus O. Atubi.

10.50 a.m. Address by the Chairman of the event/Vice-Chancellor, Professor Victor F. Peretomode

11.20 a.m. Vote of thanks by a delegate of the Fresh Students.

11.25. a.m. Flight of the Vice-Chancellor, Principal Officers, Deans of Faculty, Professors, Directors and Heads of Department.

BUSINESS SESSION

11.30 a.m. first Lecture "The Essence of University Education" by the Dean of Education Professor E. Kpangban

12.00 twelve second Lecture "Business" by the Ag. Chief of Entrepreneurial Studies, Dr. U.N.O. Edewor.

12.30 p.m. third Lecture "Down to earth Demonstration of on-line enlistment and e-installment of charges" by Mr. Joe Ebasa.

11.15 a.m. third Lecture "The University Library and you" by the University Librarian, Professor S. O. Uwaifo.

11.45 a.m. fourth Lecture "Time Management for Effective Performance/Functions of the Counseling Unit" by the Ag. Executive, Students Counseling Center, Dr. E. Oghounu.

12.15 p.m. fifth Lecture "Sexual orientation Issues" by the Director, Center for Gender and Development Studies, Professor (Mrs.) D.O. Arubayi.

A 77-year-old female retiree was among the 1,008 students of the Faculty of Education, University of Lagos, who were awarded first degree on Tuesday at the institution’s 2017/2018 Convocation Ceremonies.
